ORLANDO, FL – Today, United States Senator George LeMieux announced his endorsement of Daniel Webster’s campaign for Congress.

“I first came to know Dan in 1996 during his tenure as the first Republican Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives in more than a century. We worked together on an amendment to Florida’s constitution cutting property taxes. I came away from that experience enormously impressed with him as a person of character,” said Senator LeMieux.  “He is a statesman with a proven conservative record of fighting wasteful spending and advocating for smaller, more efficient government.”

LeMieux continued, “The citizens of Central Florida deserve a tested leader who will bring a pro-growth, fiscal conservative mindset to Washington, and who will make job creation a top priority. Dan has the proven record to do just that. I am honored to call him my friend and look forward to his service in the United States House of Representatives.”
